A charming glazed stable door welcomes you into Laundry Cottage’s bright and comfortable sitting room. It is a lovely space to unwind after a day exploring Cornwall, with relaxed seating and a Smart TV for cosy evenings in. The room flows naturally through to the kitchen and dining area, while complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the cottage.
Eating & Dining
Laundry Cottage’s bright and well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to settle in and enjoy relaxed meals together. With an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment, it is equally suited to preparing a leisurely breakfast, packing a picnic for a day exploring Cornwall or enjoying a cosy evening meal at the cottage.
Sleeping & Bathing
Upstairs, Laundry Cottage has two comfortable, well-proportioned bedrooms, both enjoying views across the courtyard towards the Camel Valley. The first is furnished with an inviting king-size sleigh bed, while the second has twin beds, making the cottage ideal for couples, friends or a small family.
Situated between the bedrooms, the spacious, naturally lit bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower and a tall heated towel rail. A washing machine is also provided, adding a little extra convenience for longer stays.
Outside Space
A table and chairs are provided in the shared courtyard, an inviting spot for outdoor breakfasts or evening drinks while enjoying views towards the Camel Valley. Guests also have access to the shared heated outdoor swimming pool during its seasonal opening period and are welcome to explore the beautiful grounds of Tredethy House.
Parking
Ample off-road parking is available. Please park in the designated area between Garden Lodge and Tredethy House, to the right of the space directly in front of the wisteria-covered entrance to the courtyard.
Accessibility
Laundry Cottage is arranged over two floors. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are located upstairs and are accessed by an internal staircase, so the property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. Please contact us before booking if you have any questions about the cottage’s layout or accessibility.
Babies & Children
Little ones are very welcome at Laundry Cottage, with space for one infant under two in addition to the cottage’s usual guest capacity. To make family stays a little easier, a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request, simply let us know when booking.
Dogs
One well-behaved small or medium-sized dog is very welcome at Laundry Cottage for an additional charge of £35 per week per dog. Please include your dog when booking so that the arrangements can be confirmed in advance.

Cardinham Woods

The Camel Trail
Following a former railway line through some of North Cornwall’s loveliest countryside, the Camel Trail is perfect for walking, cycling and relaxed family adventures.
The mostly traffic-free route winds alongside the Camel Estuary and continues through peaceful woodland and open countryside, with plenty of wildlife and changing scenery along the way. Stop at one of the cafés en route, enjoy a picnic or simply take your time and soak up the beautiful surroundings.
